Unicaf University Zambia Labour Day March
On the 1st of May 2022, Unicaf University Zambia took part in the Zambian World Workers Day march for the first time since its conception.
The march on World Workers Day, more commonly referred to as Labour Day in Zambia, was held under the theme “Accelerating Socio-economic transformation through sustainable and decent job creation amidst Covid-19”.
The march started from the Lusaka Municipal Council offices, otherwise known as the local civic centre, and ended at the freedom statue, where the Head of State, His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema was seated, among other dignitaries.
The Labour Day march acted as an opportunity for the Unicaf University team to interact with other companies and advertise and showcase the Unicaf University brand across Zambia.
A number of Unicaf University staff attended and were all proud to spread brand awareness for Unicaf University across Zambia.
