Unicaf University in Zambia Inspires Students at Lechwe School
Unicaf University in Zambia has continued its tradition of engaging with high school students by visiting Lechwe School in Kitwe. The event was held on March 20, 2023, and was coordinated by Dr Lameck Mwewa, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Unicaf University.
The aim of the event was to inspire and guide young people on the skills needed in the 21st century and the careers of the future. Dr Mwewa discussed the ever-changing dynamics of the world and how young people need to concentrate on careers that will remain relevant in the future.
Marketing Officer Chipo Mabuti also spoke to the pupils about making informed decisions when it comes to choosing their future academic paths. The talk was followed by a question and answer session, where the students had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification. Finally, the event concluded with a prize draw, where one lucky student won a tablet.
This career and guidance talk served as a reminder to the students that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future. Unicaf University is dedicated to engaging with high school students across Zambia and beyond, to inspire and encourage them to pursue their academic dreams. Through events such as these, Unicaf University is helping to build a better future for all.
